Behind the Scenes: 2025 KAIST CTScape & AIRIS Open Lab Tour

Remarks on 2025 KAIST CTScape and AIRIS Open Lab Tour

We were truly amazed by the insight and energy that filled this year’s event at KAIST. The variety of programs and the enthusiasm from everyone created an inspiring atmosphere that will stay with us for a long time. Also, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined our open lab tour. We are truly grateful for your interest and passion in our lab.

Highlights and Key Activities of the Event

The event featured a diverse lineup of activities, including insightful lectures, celebrating concerts, and networking sessions. Our lab was proud to participate in the poster presentation and the open lab tour, where we introduced our latest projects and shared our vision for future research. Led by Kenny Oh, visitors had the opportunity to engage directly with our team, explore our facilities, and experience firsthand the innovative spirit that drives our work. The atmosphere was vibrant, with participants from different backgrounds exchanging ideas and forging new connections.

One of the most unforgettable highlights was Professor Sungyoung Kim’s special concert. Despite being on research leave in the US, Professor Kim made the journey back to KAIST to join for this event. His heartfelt performance of the song “Butterfly” resonated deeply with everyone present. The emotional lyrics and his passionate delivery uplifted the audience, offering encouragement and hope to students and participants alike. It was a powerful reminder of the supportive and inspiring environment our lab strives to create.

We were delighted to welcome external guests from a variety of backgrounds to our open lab tour and the dinner that followed. Your time, enthusiasm, and insightful questions enriched our discussions and broadened our perspectives. We sincerely thank you for your interest in our research and for sharing your experiences with us. We hope this event marks the beginning of many future collaborations and look forward to meeting again on even more meaningful occasions.

Thank you once again to everyone who made this event memorable—we look forward to building more inspiring moments together.
