We are proud to announce that Professor Sungyoung Kim was honored with the KAIST Global Research Collaboration Award at the 2024 Promotion and Tenure Awards Ceremony held on December 11, 2024.
The KAIST Global Research Collaboration Award recognizes outstanding contributions to enhancing KAIST’s global research capabilities through successful workshops, seminars, conferences, and active international research networking with prestigious institutions such as New York University, McGill University, and Yamaha, among others. Professor Kim’s exemplary leadership in research and dedication to international collaboration have enabled KAIST and AIRIS Lab to participate in numerous international joint research projects. These collaborations have significantly elevated the quality and impact of their research through partnerships with global academia and industry leaders.
Through this award, AIRIS Lab is poised to explore even broader international collaboration opportunities. Under Professor Kim’s guidance, researchers and students have engaged in various global projects, fostering academic growth and innovation.
